What is included in my ticket?
Your ticket grants you entry and attendance to SpringFest 2026 at St David's Marist Inanda.
Who needs a ticket?
Every single person attending SpringFest needs a ticket in order to get a wristband to gain entry. This includes children and babies. You can purchase the under 2 year old tickets online via Webtickets free of charge.
Will I receive a wristband on entry?
Yes. Every ticket holder will receive a colour-coded wristband linked to their ticket category and age group. This includes babies and children.
Do I need to wear my wristband all day?
Yes. Wristbands are mandatory and must be worn at all times during the event. No wristband = no entry.
What happens if I lose or remove my wristband?
Unfortunately, lost or removed wristbands cannot be replaced and access may be denied.
Can I transfer my ticket or wristband to someone else?
No. Wristbands and tickets are not transferable.
Will there be security checks at entry?
Yes. Bags and personal items may be searched to help ensure the safety of all guests and compliance with event rules.
Can I leave and re-enter the event?
Re-entry policies may be subject to event management procedures on the day. Please check with the event staff at the entrance.
What transport do you recommend?
Guests are strongly encouraged to make use of e-hailing services such as Uber and Bolt.
Is parking available?
Limited parking will be available on-site.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
You may not bring food, beverages, cooler boxes and refreshments. There will be a wide variety of food and drinks on sale.
Can I bring alcohol to the event?
No. Alcohol may not be brought onto the premises. However, if you are over the age of 18 and not a St David's Marist learner, there will be alcohol on sale.
Will ID be required to purchase alcohol?
Yes. If you appear to be under 18, you may be asked to provide valid identification before purchasing alcohol.
What items are not allowed at the event?
The following items are prohibited and may be confiscated:
- alcohol and alcoholic beverages
- glass bottles
- illegal drugs
- firearms, knives or weapons
- fireworks, flares or poppers
- animals (except authorised guide/assitance dogs)
- cooler boxes and picnic baskets
- gazebos
- outside food and drinks
- dangerous or nuisance-causing items
What can I bring to the event?
You can bring golf umbrellas, camping chairs and picnic blankets.
Is the event cashless?
Yes.
What happens if prohibited items are found?
Prohibited items may be confiscated and access to the event may be refused if necessary.
What behaviour is expected at SpringFest?
All guests are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully towards others.
Can someone be removed from the event?
Yes. Anyone behaving dangerously, unlawfully or disruptively may be refused entry or removed from the event.
What should I do in an emergency?
Please follow all instructions from event officials, security personnel and staff members.
What happens if it rains?
SpringFest is an outdoor event and guests attend at their own risk regarding weather conditions. We encourage guests to plan accordingly.
Can the event be cancelled or postponed?
Yes. The event may be cancelled, rescheduled or adjusted due to circumstances beyond the organiser's control.
Will refunds be issued if the event changes?
Refund decisions will be made at the discretion of St David's Marist Inanda.
Will videos and photos be taken at the event?
Yes. By attending the event, guests consent to being photographed and filmed.
How may these videos and photos be used?
Images and recordings may be used for promotional, marketing or media purposes without compensation.
Who attends the event at their own risk?
All guests attend the event voluntarily and assume responsibility for risks associated with attendance.
Is the event organiser responsible for lost or stolen items?
No. Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings.
Are parents responsible for minors attending the event?
Yes. Adults purchasing tickets for minors accept responsibility on behalf of those minors.
Is the event fully licensed?
The event is subject to all relevant approvals and licensing requirements granted.
Will there be medical emergency services at the event?
Yes. The event organisers will have emergency medical staff at the event.
What do I do if the event staff or safety office gives me an instruction?
Important announcements may be given over the PA system or directly to ticket holders, please follow these instructions for your own safety.
